I’m Bristy, a designer and maker. My practice focuses on branding, publications, book making, 2D animation and accessible design. I am the Senior Graphic Designer at Maternal Aid Association (MAA) and Creative Director at Ricebox Studio (design studio using education and creative tech for social good changing the world, a grain of rice at a time!)

I will show you how to use graphic design software (Adobe CC) to turn your creative ideas into digital reality. The lessons focus on the workflows and processes used by professional designers to work efficiently, and to get the best results from the digital tools. You will explore Adobe CC Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign through a series of practical assignments, and learn when and how each should be used. The assignments include creating a logo, a poster, and a four-page brochure. At each stage you will receive personal feedback on your work from the tutor, as well as help with shortcuts and practical tips. Advanced Students will learn AR using software such as Artivive and Meta Spark. You will gain a better overall knowledge of design software, and become much more confident in using software to create design solutions, and preparing them for print or web.

I I love your personalities, your style of teaching, how well planned out this all was and how you almost had too much planned (shows that you thought this through and wanted to give us as much info as possible). this wasn't at all intimidating (even for a literal beginner), but a nice, open, warm and understanding (safe) space!
