About Rudro
Hello!
My name is Rudro, and I’m a first-year medical student at UCL.
Having recently finished my A Levels and gone through the medical application process, I believe I am a strong candidate to guide students through the mayhem of A Levels.
With very recent experience studying the subject, and having taught it the summer A Levels were sat, I am able to precisely help students from all stages achieve the grades they want! Starting with a strong foundational understanding with each topic, I see students finding it a lot easier to tackle harder exam questions.
For medical students, I am able to help prepare you for interviews! Starting with knowledge and content needed to be successful at interviews, and moving onto applying them into real life scenarios. With constructive feedback, you can slowly build your confidence thinking on the spot and navigating tough questions. I can also help with personal statements, UCAT, and general guidance towards your application like supercurricular activities.

From experience, I believe that the most confident students are those who understand the concepts of their subjects, rather than those who solely learn how to answer questions. This is how my lessons have seen success with previous students.

• 5A* at A-Level (Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry)
• GCSEs: 8 9s (Maths a year early, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, History, DT, English Language), 8 in English Literature, 7 in German
• UCAT: 2980, Band 2
Tutoring experience:
• Over 100 hours of 1-to-1 A-Level and GCSE tutoring
• 6 months of classroom tutoring experience with OneLearning, supporting multiple students at once

He tutored me A Level Chemistry.
He started every lesson by gauging my knowledge and filling the gaps in my understanding.
Only after that would we practice some application and some exam technique.
I think that discipline really helped me try focus on the actual chemistry rather than answering the question. And it defo helped :)
