Perfect! I am sure you will agree that those of us who are asked to write many recommendations, can sometimes find the task quite tedious and even boring. However, when one is asked to write about a truly mesmerizing and life-changing individual, the task becomes almost pleasurable.
Such is the case now when I write to you on behalf of a superlative young concert pianist, Ms. Fiona Mai, whom I have known since April 2024, when she started sharing her love for music and for life with my thirteen-year-old daughter.
Ms. Mai has recently earned her Bachelor's degree from UCLA, and we were only too delighted to find out that she will actually stay in town for her Master's degree at USC Thornton. Fiona makes playing the piano a truly joyful experience that has also changed my daughter's life in many aspects! A sure master of the core repertory, Fiona's (teaching) style is full of sophisticated attention to detail. Ms. Mai is a winner in every way, incredibly warm, patient and encouraging. She easily ensures that my daughter reaches her musical potential and aspirations while always having a wonderful time with her.
