About Milan
I'm a UCLA graduate with a Regents Scholarship and have a master's in Data Science from UT Austin. I spent four years as a writer and editor at the Daily Bruin, UCLA's student newspaper, and have worked at Big 4 Consulting firm since 2020, where writing and distilling complex ideas is central to my job.
I also founded and ran a local news platform for three years, managing a team of writers and editors. Teaching and editing other people's work is something I've done throughout my career, and I enjoy helping students find their voice and express ideas with confidence. I'll always give honest and constructive feedback, and tailor each lesson to what you actually need.

With AI so prevalent, I think it's now more important than ever to write with your own unique voice. I have four years of experience writing and editing at the Daily Bruin and six years at a Big 4 Consulting Firm turning complex technical and strategic information into clear reports for executives.
I've gotten a perfect score on the SAT English section and written on deadline as a journalist and communicated with CEOs and VPs as a consultant, so I know what strong writing looks like both inside and outside the classroom.
I'm happy to help elementary school through college students working on essays, grammar, reading comprehension, or other essays. I'm also happy to work with adults sharpening their writing for work or grad school.
