About Shreya
Hello! I'm Shreya, a college student at UGA. I'm majoring in MIS and minoring in CS. I have been tutoring kids since high school and have worked at a coding school that teaches kids of all ages coding! I am patient with students and welcome students of all ages who are ready to learn! I will always prep lessons and strive to help kids understand the concepts they struggle with.

My tutoring approach is all about building strong foundations and helping students truly understand what they’re doing. I guide kids step‑by‑step through their work, focusing especially on weak areas so they can grow confident in the skills they struggle with most. A typical lesson starts with a quick check‑in, followed by targeted practice, guided examples, and then independent work where I support them without taking over. I’m patient, hands‑on, and always explain the “why” behind each step so students learn to think independently. For Python, I help students build small programs, test them, and debug them in real time so they learn problem‑solving and how to interpret error messages. For writing, I work with students on drafting, editing, clarity, structure, and proper source‑checking to build strong academic habits. What sets me apart is how I adapt to each student’s pace and learning style while keeping sessions structured, supportive, and confidence‑building. My lessons are ideal for elementary through early high‑school students who need help strengthening core skills, improving weak spots, or gaining independence in coding, writing, and general academics
