Hello! I’m a UMGC Psychology student with a strong foundation in writing, including AP Language and Literature courses, and hands-on experience as a high school writing tutor. I specialize in helping students improve their writing, develop critical thinking skills, and organize their ideas effectively. My approach is professional, personalized, and focused on your goals. Each lesson is tailored to your needs, whether it’s understanding assignments, refining essays, or building long-term writing confidence. -I emphasize writing as a process, helping students brainstorm, outline, draft, and revise their work.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Check-in & Goals (5–10 mins): Discuss what the student wants to accomplish in the session.
Targeted Instruction (15–25 mins): Focus on a specific topic, assignment, or skill.
Guided Practice (15–20 mins): Work together on exercises or assignments.
Review & Next Steps (5–10 mins): Summarize key points and assign small tasks to practice independently.
