About Carson

My Name is Carson Redman, and I hated learning math growing up. I always found math fascinating, but I always had trouble understanding it. Everything changed when I took my first college course on algebra basics. I met the best math teacher on this planet. She made me fall in love with the subject, and I ended up changing my entire major because of one person. I want to be that person for others. I want to show others what it means to be able to learn such a unique ability and excel in not only basic math skills but also critical thinking and reasoning. The most rewarding feeling in the world is when you are able to finally understand a complex matter. To me, that feeling is tenfold when I am able to show that to someone else.

About the lesson

As someone who used to think math was baloney, I know how the impact of one person can change your perspective of such a complex subject! I love math and I am more than happy to share my knowledge with someone else. My philosophy on education is that there is no one way to teach a subject and everyone learns differently. My goal is to teach in a way that is meaningful to you helps you excel. Having you understand your material and accomplish your goals is my number one priority!
