About Omari
Hello I am currently working on my arts-education degree from the University of Regina. I have been finding my self rolling through the courses as over the past two years the majority has been online. I would like to let you know that I am ready to make you better, and more knowledgeable about improv and the craft of acting as a whole.
I believe in myself so I ask you to believe in yourself too as we march down this journey together.

I will assess where you are in your understanding of improv and your acting ability. Then I will ask you where you would like to be in how much time. I will then tell you where we will start off at. For example, the 'yes' rule in improv can often be negated and rearranged to expand on the improv itself.
There are so many techniques to use here that I will not bore you. simply said, Uta Hagen was correct saying how important the moment to moment is.
A typical lesson plan from me is that there will be an assessment through just general improv games played with me. We will then approach one stage of the improv. For example, by the end of this lesson you will not only know how to make a character but those watching you will know exactly what type of character you have made.
What sets me apart? I am hard on you because I believe you can not only do better, you can get better, and eventually you can blow those who watch you on stage away all through learning about improv.
Really anyone can learn from me. I adjust expectations based on who I am teaching... I would even be willing to teach first, second, or third year students in Universities.
