About Julia
I am a fourth-year university student on my way to a degree in Speech and Hearing Science. I have worked with the elderly and patients of dementia, middle-aged individuals with unique cognitive impairments, and I have worked with young children. I have tutored children I nanny in subjects such as Writing, Reading, Math, and Chinese. I am working towards graduate school where I plan to study Childhood Development and achieve my Masters Degree to be certified as a Speech and Language Pathologist.

My teaching method is to meet with each student individually and see for myself what needs improving. I also like to hear from the student as to what they think are their own strengths and weaknesses are to focus on. My main goal for the student is to make the lessons fun and to take as much stress away from them as possible. It is my goal to find new ways to keep the children entertained while focused, and to come up with new games that will help them in their subjects.
