About Hamad
i am an undergraduate Computer Science student with a strong academic background in both GCSE and A-Level Maths. Having recently progressed through the same system my students are currently in, I understand the challenges they face and the most effective ways to overcome them.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand maths and gain confidence in a subject that many students find difficult. I know from experience that the right guidance can completely change a student’s ability and attitude towards maths, and I find it rewarding to be part of that progress.
My approach is patient, structured, and personalised. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple steps, reinforcing understanding through practice, and building strong exam technique. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.

I personalise my teaching to each student by first identifying their strengths, weaknesses, and learning style, then tailoring explanations and practice questions to suit them. I use precise step by step teachings to, worked examples, and regular exam-style questions to build both understanding and confidence, with a strong focus on problem-solving and exam technique.
Lessons typically last 1.5 to 2 hours, which allows enough time to introduce topics clearly, practise them in depth, and review mistakes so learning is fully reinforced.
I have experience tutoring GCSE students and also draw on my own experience as a former GCSE and A-Level student, now an undergraduate. This helps me understand common difficulties and how to explain concepts in a simple, relatable way so my students don't feel demotivated.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE Maths students at both Foundation and Higher tier, with a focus on improving grades, strengthening core mathematical understanding, and building exam confidence.
