About Emma
Hi, I'm an Oxford student and I have just finished my first year studying English Language and Literature. I am happy to offer GCSE English language/ Literature sessions, and A-level English Literature sessions. At GCSE I got an 8 in both subjects, and at A-level I got an A*in English Literature. I love English; the analysis and discussion of texts fascinates me. With the Oxford terms being so short it means my summer is much longer than others, keeping me away from my degree; due to this, I'd love to continue to help individuals in achieving the best they can in this incredible subject!

Like I said, I'll be offering both GCSE and A-Level sessions. With this, I'll be hoping to help the student with the analysis of text; going into context, critics and comparisons as well. Also, will be happy to mark essays alongside the type of feedback I got whilst being in Y11 and Y13. Additionally, for any individuals thinking of applying for Oxford I will happily help with the application process, and for any individuals thinking of applying for an English degree will provide support when it comes to personal statement writing.
