About Oliver
As someone who has excelled in mathematics throughout my academic career, I am confident that I can make a significant impact as a GCSE-level mathematics tutor. I have always been passionate about numbers, and I believe that this enthusiasm translates well into my teaching style. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand terms that students can relate to, and I always strive to make my lessons engaging and interactive.
In addition to my strong academic background, I have gained valuable experience working with students in various capacities, including volunteering as a tutor for younger students and coaching boxing at a youth level. These experiences have allowed me to hone my communication and leadership skills, which I believe are crucial for effective tutoring.

As someone who has struggled with maths in the past, I firmly believe that a universal approach to tutoring maths is essential for future students. I understand the frustration and confusion that can arise when maths is not taught in a consistent and understandable manner. A universal approach would ensure that every student, regardless of their background or learning style, receives the same level of education and support. It would also provide a reliable framework for teaching and learning, making it easier for students to follow and comprehend the material. By adopting a universal approach to tutoring maths, future students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their future endeavours. As someone who has experienced the benefits of a universal approach to tutoring, I cannot stress enough how crucial it is for the future of maths education.
