About Elise
Hi! My name is Elise and I’m a first-year Psychology undergraduate at Durham University.
I studied Psychology, Biology, Core Maths, and Health & Social Care at A-level, achieving A* in Psychology, A in Biology, A in Core Maths, and a Distinction* in Health & Social Care.
I’m passionate about helping students succeed while maintaining a healthy balance — I’m proof that you don’t need to study 24/7 to achieve top grades. I focus on effective revision strategies, exam technique, and building confidence, all while keeping learning supportive and realistic.
Outside of studying, I enjoy spending time with friends and watching ice hockey

My lessons are student-led and tailored to individual needs. We focus on the areas you find most challenging, building strong understanding and then applying this knowledge to exam-style questions. Each session includes 10 minutes of targeted exam practice, with detailed marking and clear improvements. I teach proven techniques and exam tricks that helped me move from low grades to achieving top results at A-level. I also place a strong emphasis on research methods, which make up one third of the course, to help maximise marks.
