About Davinia
I am currently studying English Literature at university, but sociology has always been a passion of mine. I excelled at A-Level, earning A as my final grade. I was subject ambassador in my Sixth Form and my duties involved creating and sharing past paper sample answers with all students in the department, and I helped my peers with understanding content and answering exam-style questions.

My teaching method is using an example-based approach. Sociology can be content-heavy, and it is hard to understand some key terms or theoretical perspectives. By using contemporary examples, I find students engage with content better and it makes it easier to answer the essay questions. Similarly, by completing worksheets and activities, students can consolidate their knowledge easier and use it as a revision resource when needed.
