About Lucia

Hi! I am an undergraduate student reading Classics at the University of Cambridge. I have 9 A* GCSEs and 3 A* A-Level qualifications and I am an experienced tutor. Studying and teaching are two great loves of mine and I am passionate about literature and languages. I strongly believe that enthusiasm breeds enthusiasm, so I approach teaching with positivity and a sense of fun. I want students to leave my lessons feeling more academically confident and excited about their subject.

About the lesson

Students or their parents can specify the areas of the A Level or GCSE curricula they would like to cover and we can discuss particular topics the student is struggling with. I prefer to begin a course of sessions by discussing a student's aims for the tutoring course so that the lessons can work efficiently towards a clear end-goal. I will produce lesson plans and create resources for lessons tailored to individual students' needs. Lessons typically last 50 minutes and are held either online or in person. My English, French, and Classical Studies lessons are for anyone studying for their GCSEs or A Levels, of any age. My Latin lessons are aimed at Latin beginners, also of any age. I have previously tutored English Literature for GCSE.
