About Thomas
I am studying Physics and Philosophy at Oxford University, having achieved the highest grade possible in all of my high school exams (10 GCSEs with an additional Maths qualification and 4 A Levels) and performing in the top few students in National Physics Competitions.
My desire to teach is driven by both my passion for Physics (which I hope that I can spread to others) and a recognition that some subject-matter can seem impenetrable in the classroom setting until it is explained in the right way by someone willing to engage and capable of providing a fresh and unique perspective.

Enthusiastic tutor keen to inspire a holistic love of learning as well as guide students to exam success in subject matter to which I can bring a fresh perspective (having achieved the highest grades possible across the board in these courses recently myself).
My lessons are tailored to target areas for growth specific to each student, taking into account that student’s style of learning. Generally one hour of length, each lesson is designed to explain and resolve issues with content which has been covered in an assignment and marked by myself before the lesson. This teaching format is inspired by tutorial-type teaching at Oxbridge and elsewhere.
I am particularly capable at tutoring for GCSE and A-level Maths and Physics, as well as helping with preparation for the Physics Aptitude Test.
