About Shakira
Hey! I’m currently an undergraduate student studying psychology, and I’m offering tutoring sessions over the summer for anyone who wants to strengthen their understanding of the subject whether you're catching up, preparing for exams, or just trying to make sense of those tricky theories. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by dense textbooks or abstract concepts. That’s why I aim to break things down in a way that actually makes sense, using real-life examples and simple language. We'll move at your pace and focus on the areas you need help with whether it's research methods, cognitive psychology, behaviorism, or anything in between. Outside of class, I dabble in Muay Thai, hiking, and record collecting just to name a few. After college, I'm hoping to land a job in the psychology field and apply what I’ve learned in a meaningful way.
