About Maya
I take professionalism and reliability very seriously. I create a supportive and respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their skills. Through my previous tutoring experience, I’ve learned how important it is to adapt to each student’s learning style and communicate clearly. I am patient and experienced in helping younger students improve their reading and writing skills. I voluntarily tutored Reading and Writing elementary school students throughout high school at READ 718. I learned how to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles. I enjoy helping students grow academically and become more comfortable communicating in English.
