Kavyaa is my peer tutor at UGA and she helps me with my Biology I course. I really appreciate her help and after each tutoring session, I feel more confident about the biology knowledge I learned.

Kavyaa is a wonderful tutor who explains concepts clearly and makes difficult material much easier to understand. I especially admire how she breaks down complicated concepts into simple steps and uses real-life examples and metaphors to help me remember them.

For example, when explaining the p53 pathway, she used a lock-and-key and soldier metaphor to help me understand how p53 signals through p21 to stop CDK activity. She also used making a burrito as an analogy for DNA replication and RNA transcription, which helped me understand the differences between the two processes and remember that DNA replication requires a much higher level of accuracy because genetic information must be preserved.

Another thing I really appreciate about Kavya is that she does not simply explain the material and move on. She asks me questions and encourages me to describe each concept in my own words. When I have to think through the concept and explain it myself, this process reinforces my understanding and helps me recognize what I truly understand and what I still need to work on. Her approach makes me feel more confident in my ability to understand and apply difficult concepts.

Kavya is an encouraging tutor who genuinely cares about helping her students succeed. Her ability to make complicated material approachable while actively engaging me in the learning process makes our tutoring sessions both productive and interesting.

Kavyaa is a true professional in her tutoring. She helped me through some difficult topics and helped me ace my test!
