My name is Alex and I'm an undergraduate student at Wesleyan University. I have been tutoring since November 2022 and teaching since January 2024. I greatly enjoy teaching and mathematics, and I can't wait to get to know you and help you in your mathematical journey!

I teach through examples. After providing the foundations of concepts, I use worked examples to demonstrate how these foundations can be applied to various types of problems. In a typical lesson, I start with the basic ideas of a concept and then generalize those ideas to more difficult questions. Instead of providing students answers directly, my approach encourages students to ask questions and think critically about the topics at hand. My lessons are for anyone willing to gain a deeper understanding of mathematics!
