About Arkan
Started transcribing music at the age of 13. Gained the majority of my musical development from jazz musicians in multiple jazz clubs around Spain. Now applying it in Aberdeen in jam sessions and at the Blue Lamp. Experienced with leading bands both in contemporary music (funk and R&B) as well as blues and jazz.

Lessons start with understanding what songs/concepts you wish to learn, we then break down the harmonic concepts in order to understand and integrate them in performances. Harmony and rhythm focused. Improvisation and learning to express oneself musically is inevitably part of my curriculum. Completed high school degree with a music scholarship and currently a university student with practical experience in the music scene (21 years old). Lessons are usually 1-3 hours long. Works well with 6+ year olds (including adults)
