About Oliver
I first began helping students of a similar level in a way to solidify my own knowledge of the subject and revise. I have had multiple students succeed in GCSE results due to my one-to-one sessions. I put personality into my tutoring, rather than the same questions for each student, so my sessions usually involve active recall as a warm-up then a discussion of progress with set work. Followed by exercises, whether this be question sets or games to engage students. I will target year 10-13 due to my expertise, however I have accommodated for year 8 and 9's in mentoring sessions at my sixth form. The length of a lesson will usually be an hour long, however flexibility is key to adapt to as students' personality and the length can vary.
