About Mel
I am Melissa, and I am a current Undergraduate at the University of Glasgow studying English Language and Linguistics. I have always had a passion for the English language, and teaching in general. Having taught many young students before, I have seen different abilities and learning methods, which makes me flexible in the way I teach. My lessons will be tailored to the students' needs, and not just giving out information about a topic.

I believe in clarifying doubts about a topic, before engaging with students in that topic. That way, I know what needs to be given more attention. The typical lesson length would be 1-2 hours, depending on how long the students can concentrate. I have previously volunteered as an online tutor in my home country, and have also been a teacher/mentor at an after-school student care centre. My lessons will typically be better suited for 6-12 year-old primary school students.
