About Niamh
I am currently studying for my bachelor's degree in German and Philosophy at University College London, and have a passion for the subjects and helping others.
I enjoy working with tutees to provide alternative or additional teaching to in-school lessons, to help them achieve the grades they deserve
I feel that a student's perspective can be helpful, coming from someone who has gone through the same syllabi recently, carrying out sessions in a friendly and approachable way

I have three years of tutoring experience across various subjects and age groups, from primary age to GCSE and ALevel.
Sessions take place weekly for around 45 minutes to an hour and cover a range of activities based on the subject and the student's needs.
For younger students, exercises and step-by-step alternative explanation is useful, for older students, exam papers, essay technique, and revision strategy. Grammar and speaking practice are encouraged throughout
I have helped my previous tutees achieve up to three grades higher than their starting grade
