About Elizabeth
My priority is making learning music fun and building a hobby but can also make it more serious depending on your goals. This means that I aim to design a space where a student feels comfortable to talk about their goals and concerns rather than a fear motivated environment. For instance, if you haven't practiced, you shouldn't be afraid to tell me or fake that you have, instead open up about it and we can work on setting new goals! After all YOU are paying for the lesson!

The standard length of a lesson is an hour but can be shorter or longer depending on age and level. I set comprehensive lesson plans and cater each student's levels and progresses individually and take them on their own journey.
Although I do not pursue music as a career, I have learnt it from a young age, completing the AMEB music theory syllabus (this is my favourite to teach!), AMusA in violin and grade 8 in piano.
I teach up to grade 4 in AMEB music theory and piano and grade 5 in violin as that is what I am most comfortable with. After this I will refer you to someone more advanced if you wish :)
If you're looking to dip your foot in or have a child who wants to casually learn I am the right person.
