About Lakshiyien

As a Bachelor of Science student majoring in Statistics at the University of Auckland, I combine academic excellence with a genuine passion for teaching. I specialize in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, and Business Studies for students aged 13–18, across NCEA Levels 1–3, Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels, and Edexcel GCSE and A-Levels. My in-depth understanding of all three curriculum systems allows me to support a wide range of learners—whether they're preparing for exams, switching between systems, or needing help with specific topics. My teaching philosophy is centered on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I believe that every student can succeed with the right support, and I tailor my lessons to suit each individual's learning style. My lessons emphasize clear explanation, scaffolded learning, and interactive problem-solving. I often use visual aids and draw connections between subjects to show how they complement one another—helping students not only understand content but also apply it across disciplines. I specialize in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, and Business Studies for students aged 13–18, across NCEA Levels 1–3, Cambridge IGCSE and A-Levels, and Edexcel GCSE and A-Levels. I have a comprehensive understanding of all three curriculum systems and provide targeted support for students preparing for major exams, struggling with quantitative subjects, or transitioning between educational systems.
