About Kelly

As a devoted and enthusiastic student with a degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at the esteemed University of Cambridge, I am looking to impart my knowledge and passion to others on their academic journey. I am in search of students who are keen to explore their subjects beyond the regular curriculum, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of their discipline. My teaching approach focuses on more than just exam preparation; it emphasizes critical thinking and the application of concepts, which I believe, helps students truly engage with and excel in their studies. It is my goal to guide each student in realizing their utmost potential and achieving outstanding results in their examinations.

About the lesson

As an experienced tutor with a passion for psychology, I offer a teaching methodology that encourages understanding over simple memorisation. My aim is to not only help my students gain a theoretical knowledge of psychological principles, but also to unravel the 'why' and 'how' behind each concept, encouraging an understanding that will stay with my students beyond the confines of the classroom.

A typical lesson with me lasts approximately 60 minutes, a timeframe that I believe will be suitable for students in terms of the time they can concentrate as well as to be able to go deep enough into the subject matter. However I am willing to have longer/shorter lessons in order to suit my students' needs.

I have tutored many students before and am currently studying an undergraduate degree in Psychology in the University of Cambridge, however, I believe my dedication to the subject is something that sets me apart.

My lessons can be catered to a wide range of students, but would preferably suit students in their a-levels or igcses. Regardless of the academic level, my teaching philosophy remains the same: to cultivate curiosity, foster independent thinking, and inspire a lifelong passion for learning.
