About Stephanie
I am a student actuary with many years of studying Math in both school and university. I graduated high school with 9 distinctions. In university I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science which requires 2 years of university level Math. In my daily life I continue to use Math and Statistics at my job. I will try to tackle all your concerns. I aim to create a positive and supportive learning experience for all students. I take my role seriously and always strive to communicate clearly, accurately, and professionally. My goal is to build trust, encourage questions, and make learning both effective and enjoyable.

Since I have a background in Maths in university, I often aim to identify gaps in knowledge that are holding you back from excelling at Math. By covering these initial gaps it gives you a great foundation to continue learning. Once we have completed that we can even move onto more challenging things! I am proficient in English. A typical lesson will be an initial assessment of what the student is having difficulty with. From there we can work through examples and the reasoning behind the Math so that you understand why we work it out that way. We could also set up time to go through an initial teaching session on the subject if needed where we cover general concepts. I would be happy to answer any questions and provide further examples if need be. If needed we can finish off with more challenging examples to round out your knowledge. I want to take a fun approach to Math. My lessons are aimed at students at all levels!
