My Teaching Style: Structured & Supportive Every student is different, so I offer a flexible approach: The Foundation (Textbook-Led): If you prefer a clear path, we can use established textbooks (eg 時代華語). This ensures we cover all the essential grammar and vocabulary systematically. The "Fun" Layer: Textbooks can be dry, so I spice them up! We can supplement chapters with Mandopop lyrics, TV show clips, and real-world slang to make the language come alive. Taiwanese Authenticity: Being a native speaker from Taiwan, I can teach you Traditional or Simplified characters. Active Learning: My sessions are highly interactive. You won't just be listening to a lecture; you'll be speaking, practicing, and Laughing from Day 1. What We Can Focus On: Beginners: We'll build a rock-solid foundation in Pinyin/Zhuyin and basic grammar. You get to choose if you want to learn Simplified or Traditional characters. Intermediate/Advanced: We'll dive into deep conversations based on your interests, and learn new expressions along the way.
