About Emma
I'm a software engineer with 15 years of experience across diverse technologies and industries, and I spent 2 years as a university lab tutor. I help students understand difficult concepts, debug their code, and develop the problem-solving skills they need to work independently.
I tutor university and college students in Python, C, C++, data structures and algorithms, and AI tools. I can also help with exam preparation, coding interviews, and modules involving databases, operating systems, and software development.

Lessons are online and one-to-one, built around your course, assignments, and exam dates. We start with a free 15-minute introduction to understand where you're stuck and what you want to achieve.

How lessons work:
We review what you've been working on, identify what is causing difficulty, and work through the concepts together.
You'll then solve problems yourself while I guide you, ask questions, and review your code. We finish with a summary and something practical to work on before the next lesson.
Academic integrity:
I don't write or complete graded assignments for students. I help you understand the problem, identify mistakes, and improve your own solution.
