About Graziela
I am a university graduate living in Portugal. My first experience as a tutor happened in 2021 when I was 18 years old, my first student was a 9-year-old boy who did not have any experience speaking in English. I taught him for about one year and during that process, I learned how much I like to teach and help people that were in the same position I was a few years ago. I have experience in teaching grammar, vocabulary and writing, however, I realized that my best asset is at helping others in learning how to speak in English. In 2019, I went to England to participate in an exchange program arranged by ... university in London. That was my first experience living in an English-speaking country and it pushed me to familiarize myself with different English accents and vocab.

My lessons will include exercises to strengthen your pronunciation and diversify your vocabulary together with simple to more advanced conversations in English ranging from topics like everyday activities to preparation for oral exams. With each lesson, you'll learn a new set of words, idioms and "tongue twisters" to help you broaden your English speaking abilities. I will also include a moment in the beginning of each class that you can use to express what topics you wish to learn/improve in case of preparation for things like oral exams, presentations and interviews. Every three classes I will prepare a small test about the new words, idioms and tongue twisters you've learned and your pronunciation to see your improvement. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I know what it's like to feel "ashamed" when speaking in English because of a strong accent or a lacking vocabulary, however, if I can do it, so can you! I'm sure that with my help, you'll be able to speak in English with ease and confidence! I also can teach the lessons just in English or in Portuguese.
