About Kanaan
I am university lecturer for more than 20 years. I am professional civil and structural engineer (member of Engineers Australia and Australian Steel Institute). I teach now casually in Swinburne University of Technology and Melbourne Polytechnic. I have PhD in structural engineering and building and construction.

When teaching engineering topics, I clarify the topic relating it to the previous knowledge of the student in physics and math, this is to let student realise that engineering is not very difficult to be understood. I base my classes to engage students to practice solving problems in any question. I approach the topic by solving in details some example, then let students solve some exercises.
