About Kulsum
I am an MPhil-qualified Lecturer in Food Science & Technology with more than 5 years of university teaching and laboratory experience. I currently teach core subjects including Food Microbiology, Food Processing & Preservation, Baking Science & Technology, Principles of Human Nutrition and Food Quality Management Systems. I also serve as course and lab in-charge, which gives me strong practical and experimental teaching expertise.
My teaching approach focuses on concept clarity, practical understanding, and exam success. I break down complex technical topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations supported by diagrams, examples, and real food industry applications.
I work with BS and MSc students and help them with: • Concept building from basics to advanced level
• Exam preparation and problem solving
• Lab reports and experimental understanding
• Research project guidance
• Thesis structure and methodology
• Presentation and viva preparation
• Assignment support with explanation
Students like my teaching style because lessons are interactive, structured, and customized according to their syllabus and learning level. I make sure each student understands the “why” behind the concept, not just memorization.
