About Alicia
Hi, I’m Alicia! I’m a Business Economics (BSc) student at the University of Leeds and a Sutton Grammar School alumnus, where I achieved 3 A*s at A-Level (Economics, Psychology, and English Literature).
My passion for tutoring comes from a genuine love of helping students unlock their confidence. Beyond private tutoring, I’ve had experience working as a Learning Support Assistant at Richmond Park Academy and spent six months volunteering with Epsom RDA, assisting riders with diverse learning and physical needs.
These experiences taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and encouragement. Every student learns differently, so I tailor my approach to match your unique learning style—making challenging topics clear, manageable, and even enjoyable.

As a Leeds Business Economics (BSc) student who recently achieved strong A* grades in A-Level Economics, Psychology, and English Literature, I help students bridge the gap between understanding content and scoring top marks.
I bring hands-on classroom experience working as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in a secondary school (Richmond Park Academy), alongside a DBS check and private tutoring experience.
My 60-minute online sessions focus on what matters most for exam success:
-Mastering mark schemes and exam techniques in an engaging format
-Structuring top-band essays (i.e. weaving in AO3) for maximum marks
-Breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps (i.e. breaking down complex diagrams in economics)
Lessons are fully personalised for GCSE and A-Level students across all major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR). Together, we’ll build your confidence and target your highest potential grade
