About Cari
I am a recent Law graduate from the University of Oxford and understand first-hand the challenges of navigating GCSEs and A-Levels. Having supported my two younger sisters through their GCSE studies, I have been reminded of how much I enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts and develop confidence in their abilities. I am particularly passionate about English Literature and would love to share my enthusiasm for the subject with students, supporting them through their examinations and increasing their enjoyment of the subjects they study.
Additionally, having recently graduated from university, I am able to offer support with admissions questions, including guidance for students interested in applying to Oxford or Cambridge.

I will tailor every lesson to each student's goals, focusing on the areas where they are less confident, whether that is essay writing, developing analytical skills or preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Having completed my A-Levels in 2023 and achieved A*s in English Literature, History and Sociology, I understand what examiners are looking for and can help students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.
Lessons would typically last around an hour, but the length can be adjusted flexibly to meet each student's needs throughout the academic year. I understand that GCSE preparation begins well before the final years of secondary school and am happy to support students from Year 7 onwards, helping them build strong foundations and confidence early on.
