About Lydia

Due to ill health I had to spend the last year studying for my GCSEs at home and thus had to tutor myself in many subjects. As such I have developed many useful strategies for preparing for exams which I would like to share. In addition, the application process for medicine, especially at Oxbridge, can seem very daunting. I have done lots of work with organisations such as Generation Medics, who help students with this, and I am motivated to help others get to where they want to go. About the lesson

These sessions are primarily for students interested in applying for medicine or Oxbridge courses (or both!) In a personal statement session I can help you write and edit drafts tailored to an Oxbridge application. In UCAT and BMAT sessions I will help you work through example questions and give top tips. In university application sessions I can help you to prepare for the different style of medicine interviews including Oxbridge, and can give practice interviews. I have graduated Oxford with a BA in Medical Sciences (I got in for medicine). I interviewed for medicine at the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, and UCL.
