About Jon

Hello! My name is Jon, and I am currently studying Business Enterprise at the University of Strathclyde. My degree has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, probability, statistics, finance, and business, while also developing my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

I am passionate about helping students build confidence in subjects they may find challenging. I understand that everyone learns at a different pace, so I create a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My aim is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to ensure they genuinely understand the concepts behind what they are learning.

Alongside my studies, I balance part-time work and leadership responsibilities within a university society, which have strengthened my communication, organisation, and time management skills. These experiences have taught me how to explain ideas clearly, work with people from diverse backgrounds, and remain calm and professional under pressure.

Whether you are preparing for exams, improving your understanding of a particular topic, or aiming for higher academic performance, I will tailor each lesson to your individual goals and learning style. I look forward to helping you achieve your full potential.

Here's a polished tutoring profile that is suitable for platforms like Superprof. It covers all the required points and avoids including contact details or URLs.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to each individual's goals, learning style, and current level of understanding. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation before progressing to more advanced topics. I explain concepts clearly using step-by-step examples, encourage students to ask questions, and provide plenty of practice to help them apply what they have learnt confidently. I also share exam techniques and problem-solving strategies to improve both understanding and performance.

Lessons typically last **60 minutes**, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Each lesson includes a review of previous material, guided teaching of new concepts, worked examples, and independent practice with feedback to reinforce learning.

I am currently studying Business Enterprise at the University of Strathclyde, where I have developed strong analytical and quantitative skills through modules in mathematics, probability, statistics, finance, and business. While I am at the beginning of my tutoring journey, I have experience explaining concepts to classmates and enjoy helping others understand challenging topics in a clear and patient manner.

My lessons are suitable for **Secondary school, GCSE, A-Level, and first-year university students** studying Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Finance, or related subjects. Whether you are preparing for exams, catching up on difficult topics, or aiming for higher grades, I will create a supportive and engaging learning environment to help you achieve your goals.
