About Maria
I have been giving English lessons all my life. To my friends, my family and people around me.
- I found myself writing or correcting their personal statements.
- I found myself fixing grammatical errors in university essays for my friends, proof reading, editing or writing some all together.
- I have tutored secondary school children (Year 7-11) with English and Maths for two years as their grades have gone from C to A and D to B.
- My friends have improved with every essay I've written or helped them with and after a couple of years, most of them don't require my help any more.
- I have been writing English essays for a family friend struggling to do an online English course and successfully, she has passed every semester, improving her language skills along the way.
- I have written job applications and CVs and my friends have gotten the places. Just last week, I wrote an English application for a friend for a sought after job opportunity in South Africa - volunteering, setting up schools, charity work. Pleased to say, he got the place!
