As a university student that did the IB Program before, I truly understand the need of tutor as a guidance for students to navigate the IB program, especially Maths. Therefore, I want to be a tutor so I can give my students resources and guidance I wished I had when doing the IB program.

I strive to make math feel clear, approachable, and confidence-building for IB students. My goal is to help students truly understand concepts rather than just memorize formulas, so they feel prepared for exams and able to apply mathematical thinking in real-world contexts. I use a concept-first approach supported by worked examples, visual explanations, and exam-style questions. Lessons often include: • Breaking down tricky topics step-by-step • Practicing with past IB exam questions to build familiarity • Reviewing mistakes and reinforcing understanding • Offering personalized study strategies and revision techniques I create a supportive, judgment-free space, so students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring different problem-solving methods. Lessons are one hour long, with time allocated for: 1. Reviewing key concepts 2. Tackling student-selected problem areas 3. Practicing past papers or mock assessments 4. Summarizing and setting targeted follow-up work I have experience supporting IB students with Math: Analysis and Approaches (SL). I’m familiar with the IB curriculum, marking schemes, and IA requirements, and I focus on building confidence as well as exam readiness.
