About Akaasha
Hi! I'm Akaasha, a university Physics student with a genuine love for Math and Physics and a passion for helping students not just pass — but actually understand and enjoy these subjects.
I bring a conversational, student-centered approach to every session. I start by meeting you where you are, walk through worked examples in real time, and make sure you feel comfortable asking questions every step of the way. By the end of each session, I'll challenge you with new problems to consolidate your understanding and build real confidence.
Beyond just covering content, I teach proven study techniques like active recall and spaced repetition so that what you learn actually sticks. My students don't just improve their grades — they develop lasting learning habits.
I completed my A-Levels at Brockwood Park School, an internationally recognized institution in the UK, and am currently pursuing a Physics major at the University of Calgary. I am also Vice President of Education at UCalgary Toastmasters, where I regularly mentor and guide members through their learning journeys.

My Teaching Style:
I teach middle school to high school students.
My sessions are conversational, relaxed, and built around you. I start every session by asking what you already know — even the tiniest bit counts — because real learning builds on what's already there. From there, I walk through worked examples in real time so you can see exactly how I'm thinking, not just the final answer. Questions are always welcome throughout, and by the end of every session I'll challenge you with new problems to get your brain gearing and consolidate what you've learned.
I also teach proven study techniques like active recall and spaced repetition so you're not just understanding the material in the session — you're retaining it long term.
