During my undergraduate and master's degrees, Michaela has acted as a great sounding board for my ideas, helped me formulate research questions and concepts, and helped me write concise papers that stay on point. She has aided me in understanding complex subjects outside my primary field in easy to understand ways that have enriched my learning and made exploring new topics enjoyable and exciting. She has also been invaluable in reading drafts of papers, pointing out gaps in content and making suggestions for improvement and clarity. As I begin my Ph.D., I will continue to ask Michaela for feedback on my research and always ask her to proofread my work.
