About Rachel
I love playing the ukulele. I think that it is a versatile and very underrated instrument! I feel that it is especially useful as a "first string instrument" for beginner musicians looking to learn something new. However, it is also a useful instrument to add to anyone's repertoire! I am a firm believer that alongside hard work, being kind to oneself while learning something new is of the utmost importance, and thus I always emphasize this in my lessons.

I am a recent graduate of the music education program at the University of Toronto. I have been playing ukulele for nearly a decade, and have been teaching it to students as young as 6 for several years. I am open to teaching students of all ages.
