About Monica

Unfortunately my experience is limited as I have only tutored two students between 2016 - 2017. This is due to me wanting to feel confident in my subject and properly equipped to deliver effective teaching and I felt that successful completion of my A Levels, first, would enable this.

I am excited to finally have the chance to gain more experience and embark on this new teaching journey with students who are zealous and studious.

I am a first year English Literature undergraduate that is inspired by and deeply connected to such an influential and pivotal subject that gives a platform to everyone. I would like to share my passion and love for Literature by imparting the invaluable knowledge I have gained throughout my studies, with 9-18 year olds who also have an awareness of such an important subject.

My lessons will focus on developing a student's analytical, writing and critical thinking skills, developing how they engage with their set texts and tackling anything challenging about the subject they be concerned about.

My aim is to support and aid my students in any areas of weakness that they may have identified, build their confidence in Literature and work together in meeting their targets. I am friendly, organised, diligent and meticulous to ensure that any student I encounter, is receiving the calibre of teaching they deserve.
