About Emma
I am a student at the University of Utah, still figuring out my major! I attended an advanced private middle school, and I graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA and a 32 on my ACT. I've taken AP classes and I have extensive knowledge of subjects including math and English. I've volunteered and mentored K-12 students in the Salt Lake area, and in summer 2018 I had the chance to teach elementary-age students in Peru.

Throughout my schooling, I've found that teachers make all the difference in understanding a subject. As a young person who has volunteered and mentored kids of all ages, I find it easy to relate to them and become their friend! Developing a trusting, understanding relationship with students allows me to explain things to them in a way that they will understand.
