About Max
I am a confident teacher with a passion for science and its real-world applications. I like to break down content into a set of scientific principles that cuts through the seemingly endless syllabus content. For the last year I have had the unique experience of working with a range of students from years 7 to 12 in 3 different secondary schools, delivering lessons aimed to engage pupils while being tailored to student needs.

Having taught in a range of secondary schools for a year, I have been exposed to a variety of teaching styles. My personal style is to focus on understanding the basic scientific principles and applying them to exam style questions - rather than focusing on memorisation of facts. Lessons can be 30 minutes to 2 hours based on personal preference, although for longer lessons I encourage regular breaks to prevent cognitive overload.
