About SHIMANTINI
Hi! I’m an Economics graduate who genuinely enjoys learning, teaching and having interesting conversations. I recently completed my MSc in Economics at the University of Warwick, after graduating with First-Class Honours in Economics.
I’m a friendly, patient and easy-going teacher. I like keeping lessons relaxed and enjoyable, while still making sure we get things done and you leave each session feeling that you’ve actually learned something.
I believe everyone can understand Economics when it is explained in the right way. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, ask questions freely and develop a genuine interest in the subject.
Outside academics, I enjoy exploring new places, meeting people and learning about different perspectives and cultures. I’d love to get to know my students and make learning Economics a fun experience!

As an MSc Economics graduate from the University of Warwick with a First-Class Honours degree in Economics, I focus on building strong conceptual understanding rather than memorisation. I use clear explanations and real-world examples to make Economics relatable and interesting.
I can support students with Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Development Economics, Labour Economics, Econometrics, exam preparation, assignments and general academic support.
