About David
I am a graduate of The University of West London, where I studied acting, directing, devising, and facilitation, giving me a broad knowledge of the performing arts. Beyond acting, I am also a circus performer and magician, bringing unique skills and creativity to my teaching. I have performed across the country and worked with a wide variety of people, learning new techniques and bringing ideas together to create the best possible toolkit for my students. I also continue to work in the industry, gaining ever more knowledge and insight to bring into my lessons. I love to have fun and joke — dad jokes are my favourite — creating a relaxed, engaging environment where students can learn, explore, and grow as performers.

Each lesson is tailored to the student — no two are the same. I offer flexible sessions covering a wide variety of topics, including musical theatre, improv, and comedy acting. With a BA (Hons), I have in-depth knowledge of drama school exams and processes, and can help with entry exams and assessment prep. I also support students in understanding performing arts theory. Lessons can last 1–2 hours, fully flexible to the student’s needs, and combine practical work with theory, often using scripts from real plays to enhance learning.
