About James
I’m a media scholar and storyteller with a strong foundation in film theory, cinema history, and production. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Television Arts from California State University, graduating cum laude and earning multiple Dean’s List honors. My academic focus centers on the cultural, historical, and psychological layers of cinema, especially within the horror genre. Alongside my studies, I gained hands-on experience in film production, working on set and behind the scenes to bring stories to life. This background gives me a well-rounded understanding of both the theoretical and practical sides of filmmaking. I’ve also served as a Teaching Assistant at Los Angeles Valley College, where I supported film and media courses, and I bring over three years of customer service experience—fostering strong communication and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
