About Manasi
My name is Manasi Dey, and I am an art educator, mentor, and practicing artist with over 6 years of experience in teaching drawing and painting to children and teenagers under the age of 18. Art has always been more than just a passion for me — it’s a powerful form of expression, a tool for building confidence, and a way to help young minds understand the world around them more creatively and compassionately. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding hundreds of young learners, from absolute beginners to budding artists, through their creative journeys. My approach to teaching is rooted in patience, encouragement, and personalization. I believe that every child has a unique artistic voice waiting to be discovered, and my role as a mentor is to provide the right environment, techniques, and inspiration to help bring that voice to life. My classes are designed not just to teach technical skills — such as drawing fundamentals, perspective, color theory, and painting techniques — but also to cultivate imagination, self-expression, and emotional growth. I offer a structured yet flexible curriculum that caters to various learning paces and artistic interests. Whether a student wants to sketch cartoon characters, paint landscapes, or learn realistic shading, I tailor my teaching to fit their individual goals. As an educator, I’m deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and motivating space where students feel free to explore, make mistakes, and evolve at their own pace. I also encourage creativity beyond the canvas — by discussing stories behind artworks, organizing small challenges, and celebrating every student’s progress. All of my classes are conducted online, making them easily accessible for children across different cities and countries. I strongly believe that with the right guidance, a little patience, and consistent practice, every child can learn to draw and paint beautifully — and more importantly, learn to enjoy the process. I’m grateful to be part of so many children's creative journeys, and I look forward to helping even more young artists discover the joy of art.
