My approach to tutoring is personalised and student-centred. I believe that learning should be engaging and enjoyable, so I focus on creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes. I tailor each lesson to suit the individual’s needs, whether they are a beginner just starting out or an advanced learner looking to refine their skills. I use a communicative approach that emphasises speaking and listening practice, alongside reading and writing skills. This helps students build confidence and fluency in real-life situations. I incorporate a mix of real-world materials like news articles, podcasts, and videos to make lessons both fun and practical. A typical lesson lasts around 50 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on the student’s needs and preferences. I prefer to keep lessons focused and engaging, so we make the most out of every minute. I have over 15 years of experience teaching English to students from all over the world. I've worked with a wide range of students, from young learners to adults, and have experience in both one-on-one tutoring and group lessons. I came back to England in 2016, where I previously lived from 2002 to 2011. I’m committed to helping you reach your language goals and making every lesson a step toward greater confidence and fluency in English!
